The questions everyone asks first
Can I wash new clothes with my old ones?
For brand-new, heavily-dyed items we would still wash them separately for the first few washes, they release a lot of dye. But for everyday mixed loads, this is exactly what the Catcher is for: toss your whites and colours in together and let the sheet do the sorting.
Is it dryer safe?
Yes. If you use an all-in-one washer dryer, the sheet is safe to stay in through the drying cycle. For separate machines, bin the sheet after the wash, its job is done in the water.
My sheet came out barely coloured. Is it not working?
It is working. A light sheet just means your load did not release much loose dye, which is good news for your clothes. Look closer and you will usually see it has still picked up lint, hair, and dirt from the wash. The sheet only grabs what is loose in the water, so less colour means less risk.
Is it safe for baby clothes and sensitive skin?
Yes. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, OECD TG439 skin-tested, hypoallergenic and fragrance-free. Safe for sensitive and eczema-prone skin, and for newborns.
Can I use it in any washing machine?
Yes, top-loaders and front-loaders both. For front-loaders we recommend popping the sheet into a mesh laundry bag before adding it to the drum, so it does not catch in the door seal.
I can buy 100 generic sheets cheap. Why this one?
We have all tried those. The difference is in the sheet: 80gsm Premium Plus versus the 40 to 60gsm generics that tear mid-wash, plus it is designed and QC lab tested in Singapore. At about S$0.32 a load, it is cheaper than the shirt one colour run would ruin.
